Job Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Programmatic Strategist will own Macarta\u2019s relevant advertising strategy development, as well as execution, as needed, for brands across a variety of mediums and channels, the priority being Amazon.com.  The Programmatic Strategist is also responsible for working with vendors to turn valuable metrics and data into cohesive brand stories. They will work closely with Macarta\u2019s Brand Management, Creative, Business Intelligence, Retail Media, & Amazon Search Advertising teams. The Programmatic Strategist will report to the Director of Programmatic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Core Responsibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Primary Objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Own and maximize Macarta\u2019s programmatic advertising planning & strategy; as well as assist in the execution of all enrolled media clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Assist the Programmatic Director in helping oversee junior-level employees and projects as they relate to advertising campaign builds, bid management, budget pacing, and other ad-hoc projects<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Help manage & optimize programmatic campaigns<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Build strong ties between Macarta\u2019s Advertising, Client Services & Creative Teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Own reporting, data, and storytelling for all enrolled media clients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Advertising Operations & Management (70%)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Attend key client meetings (remote and\/or in person depending on location) when reviewing  media plans\/proposals, QBRs, and strategy meetings with marquee clients as needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Dissect advertising performance to identify additional optimization opportunities, strategic  recommendations, and impactful insights<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Regularly audit DSP performance, strategy & future-looking plans to ensure Macarta is delivering  cutting-edge solutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Work with Macarta\u2019s Director of Programmatic to resource plan and communicate when new  resources (employees, systems, tools) are necessary to continue driving revenue for the  advertising department<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • \u201cThink Big\u201d and formulate outside-the-box media strategies for clients and work with internal  teams to develop Media Proposals<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Develop and nurture relationships with our channel partners & relevant media vendors Cross-Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Collaboration (20%)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        • Work cross-departmentally to identify opportunities to drive more intentional advertising  campaigns and help our clients more effectively market to their target consumers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Become intimately familiar with Macarta\u2019s client roster and work with the Brand Manager team to  identify opportunities for clients to expand into additional advertising opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Review best practices, test ideas & insights related to programmatic strategies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Innovation (10%)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • Attend industry events to ensure Macarta remains at the forefront of Retail Media and paid  search strategies and best practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Identify areas of opportunity for the teams to work better, faster, and smarter to present  to Macarta leadership<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Investigate relevant advertising tools that can supplement or replace Macarta\u2019s existing  software partners <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Identify additional revenue opportunities for Macarta via upselling additional capabilities or  services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Requisites<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
              \n
            • 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing Programmatic Campaigns, Amazon DSP, Trade  Desk, Stack Adapt, or other e-commerce platforms a plus<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • 1-2 years of hands-on experience working with 3rd party platforms for management and\/or  reporting (i.e. Pacvue, IntentWise, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing tenants and marketing journeys\/funnels<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Analytically minded & extremely detail-oriented<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Forward-thinking & eagerness to learn new things (platforms, channels, systems), willingness to  ask questions, and work in a collaborative environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Ability to self-manage and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Experience with SQL a plus<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. lookup, filtering, pivot tables)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Strong business interpersonal skills, both written and verbal<\/li>\n\n\n\n
