  • Pay Grade: This position falls within a salary range of 30-45,000 INR monthly, dependent upon the candidate’s level of experience.
  • Reporting Person: This position will directly report to the Head of the Content Department.
  • Shift Timing: 10:30 am to 7:30 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Job Summary

  • Job Purpose: The Copywriter plays a crucial role in developing engaging and persuasive content for our clients’ various digital platforms, which include blogs, websites, video scripts, image texts, and advertising copies for Google and Meta. This individual is key to enhancing our client’s brand image and visibility online, driving traffic and conversions, and fostering business growth.
  • Job Importance: By crafting compelling copy, the Copywriter supports our clients in achieving their key business objectives of enhanced bookings, lead generation, and sales. The copywriter’s ability to write effectively for diverse audiences, sectors, and digital platforms makes them an essential contributor to the company’s and clients’ success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write compelling client blogs, landing page copy, video scripts, image texts, and ad content.
  • Conduct in-depth research to inform writing.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to optimize copy and conversion rates.
  • Meet all project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Continually enhance knowledge and skills in copywriting, sales persuasion, and human psychology.
  • Develop engaging, persuasive copy for client blogs, landing pages, and ad campaigns.
  • Adhere to deadlines and maintain high standards of English writing quality.
  • Continually learn and apply knowledge of sales persuasion and human psychology in writing.
  • Delivering projects on time.
  • Responsible for brainstorming and implementing innovative content ideas that set industry trends and engage diverse audiences.

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Certification in copywriting or digital marketing is a plus.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience in copywriting, with proven experience in digital platforms.

Overall Qualification

  • The candidate should have a deep understanding of the English language, including the nuances of US, UK, and Australian English.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research.
  • Understanding of SEO and keyword research.

Working Conditions

  • Start Time: 10:30 am
  • Finish Time: 7:30 pm
  • Working Hours: The role is expected to work around 45 hours per week.
  • Lunch / Tea Breaks: 2 tea breaks and a half-hour lunch break are provided.
  • Travel Hours: The role is expected to commute within 45 minutes to an hour 
  • Location: The role is primarily in-office at our New Alipore, Kolkata location.
