Who we are?
- We are Probus Smart Things and are working on IoT solutions that can be used to solve massive-scale problems by connecting things to people.
- At Probus, we are digitizing the electricity distribution grids to bring down network losses and ensure that electricity reaches every household.
- We do this by building sensors, controllers, and low-power edge devices, and connecting and managing multiple sensors with our ecosystem.
- Probus Smart Things was awarded the Startup of the Year in 2018 and our wireless technology in 2020, has been awarded by India Smart Grid Forum, Government of India.
- Probus has also been mentored by Cisco and Qualcomm in their startup accelerators. We are a Venture Capital funded company and have raised our pre-series-A round in 2021.
- We are looking for passionate electronics engineers to build the hardware that runs on edge computing, systems on chips, communicates with cloud servers, server-less containers, and everything in between.

During your time with Probus Smart Things
- Ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation to internal team members
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
- Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to project requirements
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers
- Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable output.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
