Desired skills and experience

• Minimum 6-8 years of SAP MM experience with 2 end-to-end implementations as well as support projects. At least one S/4 HANA Greenfield or Brownfield implementation.
• Strong understanding of the business concepts, solution capabilities, and business process configuration in the Materials Management module.
• Good communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas and present them to all stakeholders.
• Self-motivated individual with the ability to carry out independent work.
• Ability to work in a team environment by effectively interacting with other team members.
• Experience in designing and configuring end-to-end processes for Procure to Pay business processes – Sourcing, Vendor Evaluation, Purchasing, Logistics invoice Verification, Inventory Management, Production Control, and Material Requirement Planning.
• Experience in designing and configuring Supply Chain Management components like Master Production scheduling (MPS), Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Availability check, production scheduling and sequencing, capacity requirement planning, production order processing, KANBAN, and JIT Calls.
• Experience in Master data setup for Material Master, Vendor Master, Plant, and valuation area, Purchase Organization, Pricing Procedure, incoterms, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in handling Warehouse Management processes like Storage Bin management, Planning, and Monitoring, Stock transfer and replenishment via WM, Putaway and Pickup strategies, and Inventory Management. Experience in Extended Warehouse Management would be advantageous.
• Integration of MM and WM with QM, PP, SD, FI, and CO modules.
• Knowledge and experience in working with the integration of SAP EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and SAP MM for Supplier Communication.
• Knowledge of the new processes in S/4 HANA and experience in using the simplification list for the latest version. Knowledge and usage of SAP Fiori Applications.
• Experience in Incident Management process in a support environment for a considerable number of users with an ability to work for SLA-based service delivery.
• Proficiency in gathering user requirements, system design and development, configuration, testing, implementation, and providing support.
• Experience in working with technical ABAP team members, functional specification document preparation, and creation of test plans, test data, and support in end-user testing.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the successful roll-out of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA implementation, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products.
• Contributing in the creation of roadmap and strategy for S/4 HANA, providing expertise from MM perspective focusing on the areas of set up of new processes and Data Migration.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
• Map business requirements, processes, and objectives; configure necessary modifications to satisfy requirements. Design, customize, configure, and test of MM module. Identify gaps, and issues and work around solutions.
• Perform and coordinate unit and user acceptance tests for all SAP MM functionalities. Develop test plans and test cases, stage test data, and document test results.
• End user training and system documentation (process diagrams, business procedures, user manuals, etc.)
• Resolution of tickets within SLA and achieving TAT as per predefined target. Keeping aging tickets in control and identifying and resolving problem tickets.
• Coordination and management of Go-Live activities, manage migration data preparation and validation, and cutover dry-run simulation.
• Post Go-Live Guide support for operational activities, manage system issues and accommodate new system requirements.
