Job Description
- Gather system and hardware requirements from the customer.
- Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering and circuit design in the development of hardware products for Defense, Industrial, and Consumer applications.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of hardware design and leverage technical experience to overcome design challenges.
- Derive technical requirements from the product specification, estimate the scope of work, and develop hardware high-level designs.
- Perform detailed design and schematic entry for digital systems involving CPUs, MCUs, and FPGAs.
- Perform detailed design and schematic entry of analog and power supply circuits.
- Demonstrate proficiency in RF subsystems sufficient to identify system dependencies and collaborate with subject matter experts.
- Oversee PCB layout containing analog, digital, RF, and power supply subsystems.
- Perform and document the results of circuit-level validation testing.
- Collaborate with Firmware, Mechanical, and Validation teams to ensure the overall success of the project.
- Ensure compliance with product safety, emissions, and performance standards supporting 3rd party certification labs as needed.
- Provide MTBF and reliability data for the individual product subsystems.
- Support and troubleshoot existing product design deficiencies reported by customers.
- Be a technical in-charge to Electronic Manufacturers in proto build and production.

- DDR3 (PCIe, Board Design/FPGA) – 4 years

Requirement
- 5 – 8 years of experience in electronic board design for Defense or Industrial Applications.
- Proficiency in board design involving Processors, DDR3/DDR4 Memory, FPGAs, High-Speed Serial Interfaces, backplanes, etc.
- Expertise in circuit design involving Analog and Power Supply parts.
- Expertise in designing hardware meeting compliance with emissions standards including FCC, IC, ETSI, Anatel, and ACMA.
- Experience in hardware design incorporating DFT and DFM techniques.
- Proficiency in design software such as Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, Altium, Hyperlynx, Solidworks, etc.
- Experience with HDL languages such as Verilog, VHDL, and SystemC will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of software languages and integration processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in technology and design.
